papercraft project prototype

 Hi, for the prototype papercraft, I have chosen to do the dumbbell from my previous project and I have succeeded in creating it using the layout I have here so far, which I will bring class tomorrow. below are the step taken to take the project to a finish. I have also added all the steps require for the laser cutter to create the final object.

                                                                     0. unwrapping the dumbbell 

                                                             1. adding polygons to the surface

                                                              

                                                                   offset the line to create tab cutout

                                              

                                                                   adding line variety to identifies cutouts

                                                                     
                          forgot to unwrap the most important part of the cutout ;( got to go back and unroll it

      placing all requred components into a printable layer out( they are pretty small , but it will do for a prototype)

           lastly, scaling the pieces to larger scaling and colored coded for laser cutter in the final project
